Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces of broccoli florets
  • Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange the broccoli florets on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper, tossing to coat.
  • Roast for 15 to 22 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Add red pepper flakes, if desired.

Note: I like to serve roasted broccoli with squeezes of fresh lemon juice.
