Cook Time 30 minutes mins
- 2 packages 8 ounces each of softened cream cheese
- ½ cup granulated white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 2 drops of yellow food coloring
- 1 drop of red food coloring
- 1 prepared 9-inch graham cracker crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
Transfer one cup of the cream cheese mixture into a small bowl. Stir in the orange extract, yellow food coloring, and red food coloring until the batter is smooth and orange in color.
Pour the uncolored batter into the prepared graham cracker crust. Drop spoonfuls of the orange batter over the uncolored batter and use a knife to swirl through the orange batter, creating a marbled effect.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until the edges are firm and the center is slightly loose. Let the cheesecake cool at room temperature for 1 hour. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight to chill.
