Ingredients

  • 2 packages 8 ounces each of softened cream cheese
  • ½ cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 2 drops of yellow food coloring
  • 1 drop of red food coloring
  • 1 prepared 9-inch graham cracker crust

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
  • Transfer one cup of the cream cheese mixture into a small bowl. Stir in the orange extract, yellow food coloring, and red food coloring until the batter is smooth and orange in color.
  • Pour the uncolored batter into the prepared graham cracker crust. Drop spoonfuls of the orange batter over the uncolored batter and use a knife to swirl through the orange batter, creating a marbled effect.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until the edges are firm and the center is slightly loose. Let the cheesecake cool at room temperature for 1 hour. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight to chill.
