- 2 cups cake flour*
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- ½ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup finely ground walnuts optional
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 additional egg yolk
Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C) and lightly grease and flour an 8½-inch (22 cm) loaf or cake pan.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, mini chocolate chips, and ground walnuts.
In a separate bowl, gently whisk the vegetable oil, sugar, Greek yogurt, milk, eggs, and egg yolk until smooth and well combined.
Using a spatula, fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until the flour is fully incorporated—be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
