Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta
Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a hearty, one-skillet comfort meal that combines savory beef, tender farfalle, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for weeknights or family dinners, it blends flavor, texture, and satisfaction in every bite.
Total Time 30 minutes mins
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces bowtie farfalle pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to the package directions. Drain well and set aside.
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Add the ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
Make the Sauce:
Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and paprika. Mix well until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
Combine:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef and sauce. Stir to coat the pasta evenly in the creamy mixture. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
Serve:
Top with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm. Enjoy!
